Welcome to my latest project! I'm excited to see where this goes. I've been pondering a reader funded project like this for a while. Since my budget is simply too small to handle anything on the scale of building an electric car, it seemed like a great fit.

The premise of the site is simple. You, the reader gets to vote on the major design decisions of the project. Since there's no budget for this project, it means that votes are going to cost $.

What's the project? I'll be building a complete, safe and reliable Electric Vehicle. Oil costs are insane, and we'd like to drive a vehicle that can conceivably be powered by sunlight.

What do you get for your votes? I'll be writing up every step of the build on the site. In the end, we should end up with a fairly thorough, and free, book on how to build your own electric car. (Who knows, maybe once it's finished we'll get someone to publish it, but the information will be available on this site for years to come.)
